Terms of Service

Effective date: 14 May 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Duna AI Scan mobile application ("the App"), provided by Duna Labs ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service and these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the documents you scan, store, and process with the App ("Your Content"). The App processes Your Content on your device only and does not upload it to our servers. See the Privacy Policy for details.

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy and legality of Your Content.
• Ensuring you have the right to scan and process any document you capture.
• The use of any webhook URL you configure (Gateway feature).

4. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use the App to:

• Scan or process documents in violation of applicable law (including but not limited to forgery, fraud, identity theft).
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except to the extent permitted by law.
• Use the App in a manner that interferes with its normal operation or compromises its security.
• Attempt to circumvent the encrypted vault, App Tracking Transparency, or any other privacy mechanism.

5. Third-party services

The App integrates with the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store, Sign in with Apple, iCloud, Apple Intelligence, StoreKit — subject to Apple's terms.
• Google AdMob — subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms.
• Any webhook URL you configure — subject to the destination service's terms.

We are not responsible for third-party services.

6. In-app purchases

The App is free with banner advertisements. Optional Pro and Business auto-renewable subscriptions are available via the App Store:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
• No refund for the unused portion of a period; refund requests are subject to Apple's policy.

7. Updates and changes

We may update the App and these Terms at any time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OCR OR AI EXTRACTION RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING EXTRACTED DATA BEFORE RELYING ON IT FOR ANY PURPOSE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $10.

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

10. Forgotten passphrase

The encrypted vault uses passphrases or device keys that we cannot recover. If you forget your passphrase or lose access to your Apple ID iCloud Keychain, vaulted documents will be permanently unrecoverable. This is a deliberate security design.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Vietnam.
